Hello!
Just a reminder about the NUDG activity for July. It's breakfast THIS
Saturday morning and some are staying tomorrow night (Friday) for a
camp-out if you're interested (Michelene in charge).

Read the details below. Some of us are thinking of doing a little
mountain bike ride also on Friday night. See more below. I realized
that some of you may not have received this. Let Michelene know if
you're interested in camping and splitting the $16 site fee.

Car-pooling is a great idea and meeting at the park and ride at the
base of the canyon at 7:30 AM might be another great idea (leave at
7:40 to head up the canyon?). Send an e-mail out if you'd like to car
pool or meet at the park and ride.

Hey Breakfast/Dinnner group friends.

Is anyone up for camping too? Just thinking that it would be fun to
camp on Friday night at the Spuces (a campground in Big Cottonwood
canyon) not far from Donut Falls. It would be a first come first
serve situation. I am willing to go at 1pm on friday to reserve it.
The campsites fits anywhere from 8-16 people. The cost would be
$16.00 to camp there.

Hello Dinner Friends,
Don't you just love all the options of summer
time? Since it is a busy month and our scheduled week
falls on a holiday, we are going to mix things up a little
and have a breakfast/hike for July. It's a wee bit of
short notice, so come if you can/like.

Saturday, July 19th at 8:00a.m., we will meet to hike Donut
Falls in Big Cottonwood Canyon. To make it simple, pack
your own breakfast of dough nuts or bagels or whatever you
eat. Follow the link for driving and parking instructions,
information about the hike, and lovely pictures to view to
wet your palette. Parking is limited at the hike
entrance, so you may want to meet at the park and ride at
the mouth of the canyon and carpool.

You are welcome to RSVP if you feel so inclined,
otherwise, see you there. : )

I know I am missing some of our friends that have joined us
other times, so please forward this to them if you want them
there. The only other information about this will be on
the blog.

Happy Summer!!!

Monica Sue
