The new
proposal by DOE to create life-cycle campus for nuclear
development and host high-level nuclear waste is
illegal until Congress changes the Nuclear
Waste Policy Act PL 97-425 NWPA as
Amended 1987) to prevent abandoned and stranded
high-level nuclear waste.
Reprocessing is the most toxic process known to science. It is not
financially feasible. It is a nuclear industry green-washing
talking point.
