Greetings friends in these frightening times. Our work is more important than ever.

I wanted to let you know that my book -- No to Nuclear. Why Nuclear Power Destroys Lives, Derails Climate Progress and Provokes War is now out in the UK and will be published in the US on March 20. (Given the false premise used to attack Iran, the "provokes war" part has become all too sadly topical.)

In addition to making what I hope is a comprehensive case against nuclear power, it also looks at the link to nuclear weapons and there are some sections that are just about nuclear weapons (atomic testing, the myth of deterrence etc.)

It is written in an easy, accessible, non-technical style and designed not necessarily for all of you, but as a book you could give to family, friends, colleagues who need convincing!

The approach is very much to tell this story through the human beings to whom it happens, focused on the human rights abuses. It also looks at the impacts on animals, nature, space etc.
