NRC to Hold Virtual Public Meeting on Proposed Transportation Rule
 
ROCKVILLE, Md. — The Nuclear Regulatory Commission will hold a virtual public meeting
to discuss its proposed “Modernizing Package Certification Requirements” rule, published in the Federal Register July 27.
What: NRC staff will provide an overview of the proposed rule, discuss related implementation activities and answer questions.
When: Aug. 5, 1:30-3 p.m. Eastern time.
How: Participants may attend online via Microsoft Teams.

The purpose of this meeting is to inform the public about Executive Order (EO) 14300 proposed rule: Modernizing Package Certification Requirements Proposed Rule.
