Meeting info Section 5 of EO 14300 directed the NRC to undertake a review and wholesale revision of its regulations and guidance documents, and issue notices of proposed rulemaking effecting this revision within 9 months [February 23, 2026] and issue final rules and guidance to conclude this revision process within 18 months [November 23, 2026]. This meeting seeks to provide an overview of how the NRC is implementing EO 14300, Section 5. Presentations will include a discussion of the agency’s approach, a high-level overview of rulemakings the NRC is conducting, and an overview of NRC’s compliance with EO 12866 “Regulatory Planning and Review” process.
