Eliminating Nuclear Testing and Nuclear Weapons Is On the UN General Assembly's Agenda

On 26 September 2025, the UN General Assembly hosted two high-level events on nuclear weapons.

The International Day for the Total Elimination of Nuclear Weapons offered clear calls for an end to nuclear weapons, the redirection of money away from bombs toward well-being, and the implementation of international law. Read RCW's report >>

The Fourteenth Conference on Facilitating the Entry-Into-Force of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT) illuminated how much progress ha been made to ending nuclear test and establishing a robust verification system, but also, how much more there is left to do. Read RCW's report >>
