Thesubscriber number is the number unique to each individual telephone/mobile following the area/operator code. The Area/operator codes in Bangladesh are listed below, with a typical number format, where "X" denotes the Area/Operator code and "N" denotes the individual subscriber's telephone/mobile number.

If you want to validate Bangladeshi phone numbers with this regex, nothing changes in the pattern (only \r? is totally redundant), but if you plan to allow 13 or 11 digits after +88 or 01, you need to use an alternation:

const isValidBangladeshiPhoneNumber = (phoneNumber) => // Regular expression to match Bangladeshi phone numbers const bangladeshiPhoneNumberRegex = /^(?:\+?88)?01[3-9]\d8$/; return bangladeshiPhoneNumberRegex.test(phoneNumber); ;

I was added my Bangladeshi number to my PayPal account when i signup. Recently i removed that number. But now i'm trying to add that number again but i'm not finding Bangladesh country code. How can i add that number again? please help.

Thank you for your posts. PayPal does not at this time offer service in Bangladesh. If you live in Bangladesh, it is not permitted to use PayPal. Use of an account registered in a country other than where you live is also prohibited.

Arsenic contamination is a global health concern, primarily through contaminated groundwater and its entry into the food chain. The association between arsenic exposure and cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) is particularly alarming due to CVDs being the leading cause of death worldwide. Arsenic exposure has also been linked to changes in telomere length, mitochondrial DNA copy number (mtDNAcn), and deletion, further increasing the risk of CVDs. We aimed to determine whether arsenic exposure alters telomere length and mtDNAcn and deletion in a total of 50 CVD patients who underwent open heart surgery hailed from known arsenic-affected and unaffected areas in Bangladesh. Amount of arsenic was determined from the collected nails and cardiac tissues. Relative telomere length and mtDNAcn and deletion were quantified by qRT-PCR. The patients from arsenic-contaminated areas had higher average arsenic deposits in their fingers and toenails (P Bangladeshi students are lagging behind in terms of going abroad to pursue higher education due to various reasons, including poor communication skills and homesickness problems, experts in the field said.

They observe that many countries, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, and Japan, have been offering ample scholarships and other facilities to lure students. Still, many Bangladeshi students fail to take advantage due to their lack of eligibility.

Though the number is gradually increasing, data shows that the number of Bangladeshi students going abroad for higher education is still less than students of some other neighbouring countries, such as India, Nepal, and Pakistan.

Former chairman of the University Grants Commission, Professor Abdul Mannan, said that once only upper-class or very bright students could afford to study abroad, but now the scope was increasing for students from higher-middle-class and middle-class families.

Mannan said that a lack of quality education in the absence of research facilities and qualified faculties in Bangladeshi universities sometimes appear as a stumbling block for students seeking higher education abroad.

Mahmuda Akter, senior manager at BSB Global Network, underscored that Bangladeshi students were lagging behind in terms of going abroad for education compared to other countries, mainly due to a lack of language skills and financial solvency.

Foreign Admission and Career Development Consultations Association of Bangladesh (FACD-CAB) president Kazi Faridul Hoque said that language competence was the key barrier for students to go abroad to pursue higher education.

The FACD-CAB president also observed that a large number of students were also going abroad due to a lack of employment in Bangladesh, as the students were not getting the jobs they deserved after completing their graduation or post-graduation in the country.

One obvious reason is the rapid growth of immigrants from Bangladesh. According to census statistics, the number of Bangladeshi immigrants has grown more than10 times in the last two decades, from about 5,000 in 1990 to close to 60,000 in 2010. New York City is their number one destination.

Nazli Kibria, a professor of sociology at Boston University who studies the Bangladeshi diaspora in the U.S., said most Bangladeshi immigrants left their country to improve ther economic and educational opportunities.

And the emphasis on education cuts across class lines. According to Khan, many parents who send their children to his test prep center are blue-collar workers, ranging from cab drivers and restaurant workers to shopkeepers.

When asked about options for students whose families cannot afford even the discounted rate, Khan said there is a free city-run program for eligible students. New York Specialized High School Institute, a 22-month test prep program, is available for 6th and 7th graders who receive free lunch, have good grades and attendance records. They also need to have at least average on state math and English exams.

The Bangladesh Population (Live) counter shows a continuously updated estimate of the current population of Bangladesh delivered by Worldometer's RTS algorithm, which processes data collected from the United Nations Population Division.

Population: Overall total population (both sexes and all ages) in the country as of July 1 of the year indicated, as estimated by the United Nations, Department of Economic and Social Affairs, Population Division. World Population Prospects: The 2022 Revision. For forecasted years, the U.N. medium-fertility variant is used.

Migrants (net): The average annual number of immigrants minus the number of emigrants over the preceding five year period (running from July 1 to June 30 of the initial and final years), or subsequent five year period (for 2016 data). A negative number means that there are more emigrants than immigrants.

Median Age: age that divides the population into two numerically equal groups: half of the people are older than the median age indicated and half are younger. This parameter provides an indication of age distribution.

Fertility Rate: (Total Fertility Rate, or TFR), it is expressed as children per woman. It is calculated as the average number of children an average woman will have during her reproductive period (15 to 49 years old) based on the current fertility rates of every age group in the country, and assuming she is not subject to mortality.

Global Rank: Position held by Bangladesh in the list of all countries worldwide ranked by population (from the highest population to the lowest population) as of July 1 of the year indicated.

I was trying to get the page numbers in Bengali Language in LibreOffice. I've tried by enabling CTL from Tools > Options > Language Settings > Languages. Then from Tools > Options > Language Settings > Comples Text Layout > General Options, I selected Bengali (Bangladesh) from the Numerals. At this point, not only in the footer but also in the whole document, all numbers changed in to Bengali. But my aim was to change the language to Bengali of the page numbers in the footer only, not the whole document. To be frankly I did not find anything like this for LibreOffice, as there is in MS Word.

Inadequate number of seats and quality of education in local Higher Education Institutions, political instability in the country and better employment prospects abroad are the prime drivers for the demand for foreign HE qualifications amongst Bangladeshi students.

In recent years, the USA, Canada, Australia, the UK, Germany and India are among the most sought-after destinations to study HE qualifications for Bangladeshi students. In recent years there has been a steady rush for universities in Asian countries like Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Japan, China and others.

Students usually receive valuable information regarding foreign HEIs, international qualifications and options to study abroad at various in country education fairs and university visits in Bangladesh as well as on the internet.

"This represents a 28 percent increase from the previous year, one of the highest worldwide, said US Embassy's Public Affairs Counselor Stephen Ibelli at a Pre-Departure Orientation (PDO) session for 120 Bangladeshi students at the EMK Centre in Gulshan today.

The US Embassy Dhaka's EducationUSA team organised the PDO session for 120 Bangladeshi students, who will begin their studies at US colleges and universities, in the upcoming Fall 2024 semester, said a press release.

The event featured several distinguished speakers, including representatives from the US Embassy Consular Section, EducationUSA, US university international admissions officials, current students, and recent alumni of US universities.
