By now, everyone and their grandmother must have heard about AJAX!

How can we integrate the AJAX way into nucleus ?

One obvious area is comments. We shouldn't need the screen to refresh
on a comment addition.

Another could be a live preview for the add/edit screen. The UI for
this might be tough to manage though ..

Any thing else ?

I think it is important that IF we use AJAX inside Nucleus, that it
degrades well. People that do not have javascript enabled should still
be able to use Nucleus.

One thing I suggested earlier (in the dev list?) is to auto-save the
text you work on as a draft every few seconds. That way, if your
browser crashes Nucleus still has your article saved as a draft when
you login the next time.

But how will that work with the new ticket system? Someone reported on
the forum that it caused trouble for him:

Both ideas are nice. The 'save and continue' feature is a feature Nucleus doesn't have yet and I guesss it would require a core modification. The comment save without page reload is something that can be done with a plugin, right?

Ajax is very impressive. I would like to have this 'magic-comments' feature.

I agree with this, much as I love the idea of AJAX in Nucleus. Ever
tried to blog from your PocketPC or Palm? Not very fun.
