Amazing UI (mostly AJAX).

What can we learn from this ? How can we do something like this in
nucleus ?

Yeah, the 37signals style and great UI designs came up in our forum
discussion on an improved Nucleus gui:
http://forum.nucleuscms.org/viewtopic.php?t=5770

One of the first things I requested after learning about (S)AJAX is an
auto-save-draft functionality. It's already on the tracker:
http://dev.nucleuscms.org/tracker/index.php?do=details&id=8

Btw, did you create an Backpack account already? I did. Very nice.
Allthough it would be greater if you could also mark items as
'partially finished'. But that is probably not meant to be a part of
this, since Basecamp can do this already.

Yup. Created an account first thing in the morning and tried it out.
Very nice indeed.

Have tried AJAXing search in nucleus. Works well. Now going to try
AJAXing comments ..

Yes, nice! I also registered. I like the color fading right after you add or remove an item from a list.
By the way, does Nucleus has any kind of 'lists' plugin? 'To-do', 'what i'm reading / listening', 'links', do we have something to manage lists like these? Ok, I remember we do have a 'links' plugin, but I'm thinking in something more generic, as suggested by Trex in a chat. A generic 'lists' plugin. It would be a nice plugin to use some AJAX tricks, like those used on backpacking.

Tremendous! :-D
If i had time right now I would like to play with a 'lists' plugin. If noone starts it first, I will, and I intend to use AJAX and this fading technique. Thanks!

http://prototype.conio.net has effects like fade in / fade out built in
along with extensive AJAX support. It goes along with Ruby on Rails and
so will be continously enhanced in the near future.

lists plugin ?

How about writing a wrapper for upcoming.org ?

I might pick it up once I complete the del.icio.us wrapper (nucle.us
;))

PS : Anyone here using del.icio.us ?
