Hello all,
The recruiter that recruited me is looking to recruit someone for the
following position in SLC requiring ColdFusion ninja skills. Albeit CF
is only one of a hundred responsibilities for the position, so if
you're interested, go HIGH on the salary requirements!
Under the general supervision of the Microcomputer systems manager,
performs work of considerable difficulty and
creativity in the support and development of the Company’s Internet/
Intranet initiatives; the nature of work will vary in
accordance with current projects; diagnoses, trains; and otherwise
corrects problems encountered by users of Internet/
Intranet sites; performs related work as required or assigned.
TYPICAL DUTIES
Acts as system administration of MS-SQL Server 7.0, IIS 4.0, and Proxy
Server 2.0.
Manages internet/intranet and extranet sites using IIS 4.0.
Performs application development using Cold Fusion, ASP, and SQL
Server.
Performs Web Page creation using Photoshop, Dreamweaver and FrontPage.
Performs design and development for the Company’s various Web sites.
Responsible for Intranet and Extranet fault Tolerance.
Responsible for consolidating information from heterogeneous
environments using DTS and MS-SQL Server.
Provide assistance to the Microcomputer Systems Manager, LAN
technicians, and Systems Support personnel as needed.
Assist in maintaining network and infrastructure documentation.
Assist in the distribution and support of company designed field
software.
Performs other duties as assigned or requested by Microcomputer
Systems Manager.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge:
Basic knowledge and usage in Cold Fusion
Basic knowledge and usage with ASP
Basic Knowledge with SQL
General Experience using stored procedures, triggers, and SQL Mail.
Intermediate knowledge and experience in Web development applications.
Abilities:
Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people;
Ability to troubleshoot NT Servers;
Ability to adapt to emerging technologies and tools quickly.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Computer and business terminology;
Ability to do technical research and report preparation;
Skilled in time management;

Yeah, I don't work there so I don't care. But legacy skills translates
to higher salary and increased intake of Tylenol?
