Dear Students,
Hope you all are doing well.
Youth IGF India is a platform recognised by
United Nations Internet Governance Forum and supported by the
India School of Internet Governance (InSIG). This
was created with a goal of raising awareness among younger generations
on Internet Governance matters, empowering them to initiate and
participate in discussions at the intersection of technology, policy and
society, and building a new cadre of leaders.
After two
successful editions, Youth IGF India is back with its annual event
taking place virtually this year. The third edition of
Youth Internet Governance Forum India (YIGF) annual event is being convened online this year for three days from
30th October to 1st November 2020.
The agenda for this year’s event is around four overarching themes
covering topics in Cybersecurity, Data Governance, Ethics, Censorship,
Environment, Health, Emerging technologies, etc as follows:
1. Data
2. Trust
3. Inclusion
4. Environment
Experts
from various regional and international organizations like the ICANN,
Internet Engineering Task Force, Center for Internet and Society, APNIC,
InSIG, Software Freedom Law Center, and Internet Society, have been a
part of our family.
We truly believe that National University of Advanced Legal Studies, Kochi has many young
visionaries who will strongly advocate and effectively contribute to
the Internet Governance ecosystem. This will also be a great opportunity
for everyone to listen and interact with the acclaimed
speakers/panelists of the event.
We humbly request you to share the information about our event within your university and network.
The registrations for the annual forum of Youth Internet Governance Forum India are now open at https://rb.gy/st2t9g

irrespective of their age or nationality. The last date to register for
the event is 28th October, 2020.
