Dear Agape,

Come say hi, if you haven't been around for a while. We're focusing alot of prayer and community this summer and can't do it without you! Hope all is well for those of you starting summer classes or starting a new co-op. Here's what we're up to:

Thursday Night: Revere Beach

Agape will be heading out to Revere Beach to hang out, reflect, and pray. We'll meet early at 7:00pm 433 CSC to drive out there. Please bring snacks to share and any other beach gear you can think of!

CAMPING Weekend Getaway!!!!!
Leave Friday or Saturday stay one night or two? Please let me know what you prefer. Myles Standish State Forest in Carver, MA weekend of July 18th. We have two volunteers to drive and are looking for others + camping equipment.

Freshman Orientation Tables:

 We're still looking for volunteers to meet the incoming freshman. 2-3pm on Tuesdays. Agape has an orientation table reserved every week in the Curry Student Center for incoming freshman orientations. Please email cho...@neu.edu if you can volunteer one week!

We Want Your Ideas About Our Night At the Student Center This Fall!!!!!
Traditionally every at the beginning of every fall semester Agape gives away fish at the Night at the Student Center to create awareness about our group. This year we may do something different. Have any ideas? Please let us know. Email cho...@neu.edu with any ideas. The Night at the Student Center is Tuesday, September 8th. An idea that has gone around is about hosting a game challenge, where a projector is set up with a Wii game attached to have a tournament style activity.

Other ideas:

- Dance Party.

- Give away Oreos and milk but only offer the milk after students fill out a survey about their spiritual views.

- Give out WWJD bracelets and explain what He would do in a variety of wild situations.

What do you think?

Lifegroups: It's not too late
Paul is leading the men's lifegroup on Wednesday at 7:30 and Andrea is leading the Women's lifegroup on Tuesday nights.
Join a lifegroup to develop close friendships, accountability and a greater knowledge of God and scripture.

Morning Prayer: God Listens

Let's pray together! Tomorrow morning 7:14 AM.  240 CSC.

In Christ,

Paul Chong

Psalm 138:7-8 (New International Version)

 7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble,
       you preserve my life;
       you stretch out your hand against the anger of my foes,
       with your right hand you save me.

 8 The LORD will fulfill his purpose for me;
       your love, O LORD, endures forever—
       do not abandon the works of your hands.

Hey All,
Last Minute Update
Looks a little stormy today so it'll be rainy day plan for us. That means either a mad dash to Cold Stone or drinks at Starbucks with some prayer and reflection. We'll decide at 7:00 in 433 CSC. See you there.

Paul
