Hey there friends,

It's that time again for the weekly email!  You guys know the drill by now... keep on reading below to get the scoop on what's happening in Agape this week!  The semester is steadily creeping to a close... why not stop by Agape before the semester's over?  We'd love to have you :)

Thursday - 3/26 Weekly meeting in 444 CSC
Agape will be meeting this Thursday at 7:30 as always in 444 Curry Student Center.  This week Agape will meet "The Shack."  Whether you've read "The Shack" or not, this week we'll be examining some of the concepts expressed in this popular book.  Mike Bost, a staff worker for Campus Crusade for Christ, will be coming to Agape Thursday night to speak on the Trinity.  How can God be three in one?  How does the relationship within the Trinity speak to how we should relate to one another?  Come Thursday as we spend the evening learning, thinking, and reflecting on the Trinity.

Thursday Night Planning Team - 3/26 6:00 outside of 444 CSC!
Agape wants you!  Feel like having a say in what goes on during the weekly Thursday night meeting?  Do you have any ideas for ice breakers, discussion topics etc?  If so, or if you just want to hang out with some cool people before the weekly Agape meeting, please consider becoming part of the Thursday night planning team.  We'll be getting together every Thursday at 6:00 outside of 444 Curry Student Center and relocating downstairs if necessary, in order to plan the following Thursday night's meeting.  By coming to one meeting doesn't mean that you have to come to all!  If you weren't able to come last semester, it's not too late to try out Thursday night planning team this semester.  Why don't we have an Agape challenge that everyone in Agape comes to Thursday night planning at least once this semester?  You just might realize how cool it is to have an impact on Thursday night meetings!

Real Life Boston - Not happening this week
Real Life Boston is a collection of Campus Crusade for Christ student ministries on campuses throughout the city of Boston and gets together every Friday night at either BU or Harvard at 7:30.  Real Life however is not happening this week due to other schools being on Big Break.  Real Life will be back in action on Friday April 10th.

Life Groups - Still going strong!
Life groups are small groups of people who meet up to get to know one another, and spend time getting to know God better together. If you've never been in one, you should really give one a try. It can make a big difference.  Life group listings and contact info is available at www.agape.neu.edu ... so check it out and sign-up! :)  If you can't come Thursday night feel free to email Ali (shel...@neu.edu) for more info.

Morning Prayer - Still going strong!
Come join us every morning (Monday - Friday) at 7:14 as we host morning prayer in the Agape office (240 Curry Student Center).  It may be early, but what better way to start your day then to spend time with God!  As always, feel free to email prayer requests and let us know how we can be praying for you.  It's not too late in the semester... why don't you start praying with us?

Evening Prayer - Still going strong!
Feel like praying at 7:14 in the morning is just a little too early for you?  If you're not a morning person but still want to participate in group prayer come join us for evening prayer at 6:00PM on Monday and Wednesday evenings in the Agape office (240 Curry Student Center).  Please come and check it out for yourself!  For more info talk to Cody!  (If you didn't come to last Thursday's meeting and get the evening prayer plug... Cody really wants you there!  And guess what?  Prayer's really cool too... why don't you check it out tonight... what's stopping you?)

God bless,
Ali

"For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man's spirit within him?  In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.  We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us.  This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words."  1 Corinthians 2:11-13
