Talk 1: Start-ups: opportunities, challenges and trends
Speaker: Daniel Zhao (http://www.linkedin.com/in/danielzhao), 1995年毕业于中国科技大学计算机系，1998在中科院软件所取得计算机软件硕士学位，随后赴Polytechnic University(现纽约大学)就读博士学位。2000年初辍学加入虹软从事图片共享网站PhotoIsland.com及一系列网站的软件开发及管理；2005年转向移动客户端的多媒体软件产品，并担任北美移动产品运营总监；2011年加入中国移动硅谷研究院任终端及业务总监，在此期间接触研究大量谷歌新创企业并为移动决策者输出大量的ICT技术及产业策略性研究报告。 Talk 2: How to plan for online payment for startups: introduction to PayPal payment products and how to increase payment checkout conversion rates and reduce checkout dropoffs.
Speaker: 赖翰雄, Internet payment professional at PayPal with more 20 years of experience in online payment, business process outsourcing, management consulting and operations. Han currently focus on optimizing customer payment experience to improve merchants' incremental online and mobile sales. Experience prior to PayPal: HSBC North America, Accenture, Strategy&Co (formerlay Booz Allen & Hamilton) and a small IT startup. He received his BS in engineering from Australia’s University of New South Wales and his MBA from the Greece’s Athens Laboratory of Business Administration. As an angel investor with Blue Angel Group, he has invested in three innovative and promising startups.
