Video has been the fastest growing segment of all internet traffic. Moreover, this trend looks set to continue for the foreseeable future. From content creation to aggregation, to distribution, to devices and to end consumers, online video challenges traditional models. Both old and new suppliers are rushing into the value chain to grab a share of the growing pie. But how will the market develop and who is gonna be the winner? And most importantly, where's the industry going?  

Join us for a casual conversation with industry experts and the discussions of the disruptions in the video ecosystem!

About Mr. Yangbin Wang

Yangbin Wang is founder and CEO of Vobile, the worldwide leading provider of content identification and management services. Prior to founding Vobile, Yangbin served as CTO of Onewave Technologies following the acquisition of the IPTV business of YZTECH by Onewave in 2004. He was founder and CEO of YZTECH, a leading IPTV technology provider in China famous for the landmark deployment of its IPTV platform by WASU/Hangzhou Netcom. It was the first and largest commercial IPTV service offering in China. Previously, Yangbin was founder and CEO of EnjoyWeb, which pioneered the time-shift delivery of video contents via broadband Internet. In addition, Yangbin was director of software architecture at Oak Technology's Broadband Consumer Group. He also participated in several startups. At the outset of his career, he was a research engineer at Compression Labs (CLI) and General Instrument (GI). 

Yangbin earned a BS degree from Zhejiang University in China and an MSEE degree from the University of Florida, Gainesville. He also completed executive education program at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.


About Dr. Ningning Hu

Dr. Ningning Hu is currently a software engineer at Pinterest Inc. Prior to that, he was the founder Streamup Inc. and served as the Engineering Director of Conviva. At the outset of his career, he was a software engineer at Google. 

Ningning received a BS degree in Computer Science from Nanjing University and a Ph.D  degree in Computer Science from Carnegie Melon University.
 


About Mr. Eusden Shing

Eusden Shing

Eusden Shing is the head of mobile products at Pinterest. Previously, Eusden was an early employee at Hulu where he led web product management and development. He holds a Bachelors and Masters in Computer Science from UCLA.


About Dr. Han Shen

Dr. Han Shen is an innovator. He started his career as Senior Scientist at the Department of Emerging Technologies of Rohm and Haas Company, where he was credited as inventor of four issued U.S. patents and key contributor to multiple winning R&D grant proposals. Han is an explorer. He holds a Private Pilot License, a Dignitary Championship at the 2002 International Cherry Pit Spitting Contest, and has trekked in Antarctica for seven days and nights and enjoyed it 100%. Han is a venture investor. Currently he is a Principal at Formation 8, an early-growth focused venture fund with offices in San Francisco, China, South Korea and Singapore, where he invests in IT and energy technologies. Throughout his venture experience (including prior ones at VantagePoint Capital Partners and other VC firms), Han advised start-ups across different stages, from Series A through exit.
