This is a reminder that the Workshop on Late Antiquity and Byzantium will be holding its final meeting of the Spring Quarter TOMORROW, Friday, May 27. 

Leonidas Pittos, Ph.D. candidate in History at the University of Chicago and lecturer in Modern Greek at Wayne State University, will be presenting his work entitled:  "Contending with Thomas Aquinas: The Hesychast Controversy and the Fortunes of Demonstration and Dialectic in Late Byzantine Theology." 

The meeting will be held at 4:30p.m. in the John Hope Franklin Room of the Social Science Research building (SSR 224).  *PLEASE note the unusual meeting place.
