Thursday, May 26th at 6pm, Instituto Italiano di Cultura, 500 N Michigan Avenue, #1450, Chicago. “Re-thinking Neorealim: Film and Society between Fascism and Postwar Italy,” a free lecture by Prof. Vito Zagarrio (professor at University of Rome 3 and Fulbright scholar, visiting professor at Northwestern University,) will talk about Italian "Neorealism", in relation with the contemporary debate about re-vising Italian cinema and culture from the 30s up to the 50s.
