I will send you a separate email how to join our groups (i.e., our Google email group, Facebook group, and our private Shutterfly photo-sharing website).

To Prof Shen(沈冬):

I was looking into my email INBOX/Facebook/Shutterfly messages to search for more information about "10/20/2012 & 六十週年慶籌備" ; and I am really confused.

According to your email/letter (on 7/25/2012) :

"... 出訪完畢，以上報告也差不多了。十月薰風六十年，我已口頭邀請李校長參加，如果他不出國，一定會來的。籌備工作可否請哪位領導緊鑼密鼓辦將起來。 ..."  

Do you know who is currently the lead person for 六十週年慶籌備? And can you confirm the date (10/20/2012)? 

I know you, Stone(石佳相), & 廖詩昀 probably have your hands full from your work; we probably need lots of supports from "在校生" in preparation of 六十週年慶. 

In addition, do you know who's the person in charge of 薰風's "資訊組"?

It would be great if he/she can post links to our Google email group (and/or at our Facebook group) so we can view recent concert's performances (i.e., 台北場& 北京場, etc).

It would also enable us to forward important documents/pictures (see P.S. email from & 高亦涵博士 & Prof. 王自存) to "資訊組" for archiving.

For now, Stone(石佳相) can help our alumni to send those info to "DROPBOX" and I can pick them up from the  "DROPBOX"  and post them to our Facebook group (and/ our Shutterfly group, depending whether the pictures should be kept private (i.e., to be shared just among our members).

Lastly, I would like to help reconnecting some NTU Early Graduates 台大早期校友們 who may be NTU CMC alumni (and other 失聯的校友們) in celebration of 台大國樂社/薰風六十週年慶.  It will be great if someone can make a "draft" version of the poster(海報)/invitation letter(邀請函) for the 10/20/2012 events(返校活動) and email it to me as soon as possible

(so I may display it on 8/18/2012 @ the check-in stand when NTU Early Graduates 台大早期校友們 check-in for their Hawaii Cruise).

秋艷暨薰風國樂團各位社友：

真高興收到你的來信，我們幾個人當年創辦的薰風國樂社，不覺已經歷了一個甲子。這好比一粒國樂的種子，今日喜見已經茁壯成林，回首前塵，不勝今昔之感。

謝謝你們還記得我。今天懷著無比興奮的心情讀完秋艷社友的信和許多照片，尤其facebook裏面一些頗有歷史意義的相片，感慨系之。當年和我一同創社的幾位好友如林沛宇、歐陽斌若等人，都已作古。重聞當日舊曲，猶如巫峽聽猿，令人潸然淚下。

我於1954年從臺大物理系畢業，受完一年軍訓後不久即出國。獲得Columbia University 博士學位後，即在美國IBM任職及紐約州立大學任教數十年，於2004自物理研究崗位退休。現在定居洛杉磯郊區，改行主要從事中華詩詞理論研究及寫作。　

我於1969-70期間，應聘在臺大及清華講學一年，其間適逢老友林沛宇舉行作品發表會，故亦曾參加薰風演出。當日坐在李鎮東旁邊拉二胡的，正是在下。記得1972年曾寫一短文，登載於中國樂刊，略述薰風社成立經過，忽忽至今也已四十年矣。

欣聞薰風樂團將於今年十月舉行成立六十周年慶祝大會，我覺得薰風人好比一個大家庭，由當初的六個人，到今天校友成員遍布海內外，作為創社的“老人”之一（這薰風之名，也是我取的），這份快慰喜悅，難以筆墨形容。如有我可以盡力的地方，例如毛筆題字，紀念性文章，回憶當年軼事，我都願效力。此外，我還珍藏一批舊照，例如1952年夏薰風第一次在中山堂公開演奏，1954年在法學院禮堂第一次公開演奏會等等，各位如有興趣，我可以用scanner做成檔案，寄去加入紀念冊內，讓大家看看一甲子以前老社友們的樣子。

Is it possible to get a YouTube video link to the performance for "農村酒歌" during the 7.11.2012 concert?

And maybe a link to "柳暗花明"'s performance too (if it's available)? 

Since the version we have now was taped by 林 雪如 using her mobile phone (and I think she couldn't film it at good angle due to the front-seat location she was seated)  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X3DlwJjm2H0 .
