Need Help With Recurring Infection

2 years. It occationally gets infected and my outer gum swells with pus.
If I take antibiotics the swelling and pain goes away. I've been to
several Dentists but they all tell me a different story. One said the
crown was leaking. Another said it was plaque. Another just wanted to
pull it. And another said it needed root canal, a post and a new crown
(big money). I don't know who to believe. I've been able to live with it
but something's got to be done but I'm really untrusting. Every Dentist
I've seen so far I get the feeling they're lying to me or something. Any
suggestions?
