Firefox behavior change

I admit it, I have too many firefox windows open - 60+ at the moment.

But, I used to be able to click on the grouped windows in the task bar and a small down chevron would be available to scroll through the windows in the stack, either by keeping the mouse pointer on it or by using the up or down cursor keys to let me locate the windows I wanted.

Now, it's not doing that.

I've tried researching this but haven't found anything that specifically addresses this problem.

Has anyone else noticed this - and perhaps fixed it?
