Maybe but color me skeptical.  The quant-comp researchers are always announcing exciting progress.  I imagine it helps with funding.

About the only real thing, well depends on whom we’re talking to, that comes out of quantum computing is cold hard cash. My #1 son was playing trades on them and made some serious coin.

 

That being said, bunk. Pure and utter bunk.

 

Back in the day when someone was talking big about their muscle (car), someone would call them on it. “Race for pinks?” That usually shut them up.

 

I’m at the point where the only thing I see coming out of the whole Quantum Computing thing is cash for the peeps getting the “investment” money and those who are astute about it like #1 son.

 

I’m calling pinks. I want to see a simple basic program like Space Invaders running with Claude 99.987 punching out those aliens! 😉
