I got a new one today…..Has anyone successfully completely uninstalled WebRoot and ALL of their little other programs?
I thought I went through the right uninstallation process but when it completed I saw two services still running….:
WRSkyClient & WRCoreService
Of course, those are protected so you can’t stop or change the startup options which also means you can’t do anything to the folders running those services.
Does anyone know the correct way to COMPLETELY uninstall ALL of their crap?
TIA!!!
Rick.

I’ve run into that with other things in the past. The complete process requires a reboot, but there are pieces left until you do so. Don’t know if Webroot does that as well, but it’s common.

Thanks Guys…..from the reading I’ve been doing, this has been a known problem for some time! But why would anyone want to uninstall WebRoot?....i just don’t understand…NOT.
I may have to hack it out…..but we’ll see.
