> The Fulbright Program in Ukraine is pleased to invite you to an open lecture “Patterns and Challenges of Political Change in the 21st Century ” by U.S. Fulbright Senior Specialist 2015 Richard Farkas, PhD, to be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2015, 6:00 p.m., at the Fulbright Office (20 Esplanadna Street, Suite 904, M "Palats Sportu", Kyiv).

> Richard Farkas is a Professor in the Department of Political Science at DePaul University (Chicago, IL). He has been teaching at DePaul for over forty years. He holds an honorary degree from Corvinus University and has lectured in Russia, Poland, Hungary, and Croatia.  His research compares strategies for political and economic development in post-Communist and post-conflict countries.  Professor Farkas  has consulted for some of the largest corporations in the U.S.  and has appeared frequently on U.S. and international media. Currently  he has a Fulbright Specialist grant to teach courses in Political Science at Ukrainian Catholic University in Lviv.

> Prof. Farkas has followed events in Ukraine closely and analyzed the West’s view of how it has covered events regarding the war conflict between two neighboring countries.
