Presentation- READ!

Hey group,
I have attached the presentation.  Please look over it to make sure there are no typos in your slides and that the order is correct.  There are things in the presentation that I am not sure if they need correcting or not.  If you make a change to the slide, please e-mail it back to the group.  Also, does someone want to volunteer to bring the slides to class?

Here is the order of who is presenting from the google group:

Order:

1. Who are we? Lucia

    -Oil stakeholder perspective on economic benefits

    -Overview: Intro to benefits

2. Employment: Jay

3. Royalties: Amy

4. Community wealth fund: Mak

5. Things we can finance with money: Laura

    -Infrastructure

    -Socioeconomic benefits (human capital)

6. Morbid point of the costs of the spill: Beth

    -In case of a spill, we employ lots of local people! Yay GDP?

    -Super difficult and expensive

    -DO NOT FOCUS ON THE ENVIRONMENTAL COSTS (we are economists – money money money)
7. Conclusion: Beth

Hey Alba, where did you get your revenue information so I can look it over to be more prepared? Also, and are the numbers in the Revenue Section all hundreds, or are they thousands, millions, etc? Thanks gal!

Hey guys,

Just remember to try to show up a little bit earlier if you're presenting tomorrow. Let's also get the presenters to sit together in order of presenting (saves time). That way, once you press the button you can immediately start talking without having to worry about microphone/camera adjusting because you're already in the camera's field.

Hey guys, The revenue stuff...where are the sources to the slide? In all my hours of research, it was never on the topic of revenue and now I am slotted to present on it? I know I can just read the slide but I want the sources behind it so I can at least discuss it intelligently.

I'm presenting the innovative revenue strategy slide. Beth reversed the order (putting it before the wealth fund for flow) so you don't need to worry about it. I'm only going to briefly introduce and discuss them. I hope that's what you were referring to, Amy.

Hey Amy, 

Sorry for not answering before but i've been the whole day on the countryside working with a veterinarian and I haven't had access to internet. The information was from the british columbia study case: http://www.royalroads.ca/NR/rdonlyres/482009CD-D2B0-4514-8567-6282E4B... (page 18). The revenues are $2 billion for total revenue, and the others are all in million $. 

I'm so sorry about that.
