POST-VIDEOCONFERENCE ASSIGNMENT
Students from Cornell and Uppsala will select one (or two) key
conflict or tradeoff that was
identified during the second part of the videoconference. Then leaders
of the three
sustainability groups from Uppsala and Cornell will coordinate to post
these issues on the
Blackboard Discussion Board to initiate a discussion thread. All
students from all schools
should then post their recommendations, approaches or critiques for
resolving the
conflict/tradeoff and/or comment on those posted by other students.

So, as a class, your responsibility is to coordinate amongst
yourselves and via group leaders w/ Uppsala to

1. select one (or two) key conflicts or tradeoffs
2. post these issues on the Blackboard Discussion Board to initiate a
discussion thread.

This has to be up by Saturday i think he said in class

Hey should we say something about the conflict between the livelihoods of the few to accommodate the many as Titti said in her wrap up?

I really like that one. One of the people I interviewed said that they essentially were the sacrificial lambs for the world's energy needs.  Basically that the conflict is that why should they give up their livelihood in order for us to maintain our livlihood? Why are the capitalistic nations always preying on the weak...essentialy survival of the fittest(death of the weakest-in this case with the least amount of money). 

If this sounds good give me a two thumbs up guys and I can put it on blackboard.
