The 6th Annual Warbirds On Parade Car Show / Warbirds On Parade A
Salute to Veterans.
Come on out and enjoy some 30+ vintage WWII aircraft from fighters to
trainers to bombers and transports. Also there will be some cold war
Russian aircraft as well this is probably the only place to see the
Russian Mi-24 "Hind" attack helicopter.
In the past we have had a B-24 Liberator (one of only two airworthy)
a B-17, a FG-1D Corsair, P-51 Mustang, a P-40 Warhawk, and a F4F
Wildcat.
I have it on good authority we will have the Cavanaugh Flight Museum's
P-51 Mustang "The Brat III" back again this year.
Location: Lancaster Airport (KLNC) 650 Ferris Road Lancaster, Texas
When: Saturday September 1 2012
Time: Car Show 9:00 to 2:30 Salute to Veterans 9:00 to 4:00
This will be a 20 class show with 4 Best in Shows 2-car and 2-truck
Fritts pick and DFW Wing pick
Entry fee $20.00
Pictures: $15.00 ( To have pictures of your car next to one of these
historic warbirds)
ALL Money raised goes to support these WWII aircraft and all is tax
deductible.
I know the MCA show is the same weekend so all of you not going to
that please consider this event.
