Tomorrow’s weather forecast is tailor made for a road trip and an
outdoor car show. The Cruisin’ Autumn Car and Truck Show is a good
choice. Details at www.cruisinautumncarshow.com.
A group of us will leave from Garland at 8 am tomorrow morning. We
rally in the parking lot of the Northern Tool and Equipment. It is on
the southwest corner of Interstate 30 and Belt Line Road. (For those
that are geographically challenged, this is on the east side of Dallas
County, so don’t confuse it with the I-30 / Belt Line intersection in
Grand Prairie.)
It will take about an hour to get to Wolfe City from Garland, so we
should arrive around 9 am. Arriving as a group should allow us to park
together. They usually put trucks in a separate area at this show.
Also, if you are interested in judging, I am sure they would
appreciate the help.

It was a great time yesterday. Thanks to all who joined the NTMC
group. There were over 200 vehicles and really good weather. Many NTMC
members won class trophies and thanks to those who helped with
judging.
Don't forget about our last cruise of the year on November 14th. Let's
try to finish the year with a great showing.

Donnie - Hope you're feeling better soon. I'm glad you are slowing
down and resting. Believe me, it does help. As for me, I'll be back to
showing my Mustang in 2010 hopefully as good as new. Or as close as I
can be with all this titanium holding things together. :)

Robert! You act like you haven't seen us at the meetings!
Doctor said it could take 6-12 months for this to heal because I'm
growing bone to fuse two vertebrae together. . I don't want to screw
it up and have to do another surgery so I'm not showing my car again
until next year. That is why I'm not at these events... I have to
limit what I do. Last time the car was detailed was before surgery.
I finally washed her about a week or so ago with the aid of a power
washer :) but didn't do the fine detail work that I normally do. I'll
admit that I was hurting when I was done and had to go lie down. :
( It sucks. I do hope everyone at NTMC knows that I haven't left
the club. I'm just trying to get better.

I know, but I miss seeing you guys @ the cruises :-( but ya gotta do
what ya gotta do to get better. After my surgery it drove me nuts
that I couldn't go & clean & detail. Just focus on getting
better :-) Post something up every once in a while & let us know how
