I've never had a problem with my service in the 15months I've had it, but
the last week has been utterly appauling! I can see there is work going on,
but none of it even mentions my area or is anywhere near my area, so maybe
they need to provide more detail or state that it will have an effect on
other areas use of the network, I think if people were better informed and
getting the same service they'd still be happier knowing or thinking they
know what is happening.

But you can access theirs if you want. I have installed NewsPlex and
configured it for these servers:
news.cable.ntlworld.com mr
news.ntlworld.com
news.cable.ntlworld.ie
newscache.cable.ntlworld.com
news.cache.ntlworld.com
news.cache.cable.ntlworld.com
news.tesco.net
news.virgin.net
I get something on at least one of these so I can keep up with the
"Great NewsGroup Debate"
