Hi

We've got a NTLWorld 128kb connection. I initially set it up to
connect via USB to a master PC, and then used ICS to connect to
client PCs.

ICS is fine when it works, but I seemed to have to reinstall it every
2/3 days, and it was annoying if somebody reset or froze the master
PC.

So I bought a vigor2200E Cable Modem Router from www.seg.co.uk for
£126?+VAt+PP

ICS then irritatingly took 10 days b4 falling over, before obliging me
to
setup my router.

The setup was surprisingly easy:- see FAQ below.
From my client PC Robin Walker's cable test increased from 56k
(USB/ICS) to 127kbs with a router.

If you can afford the spon don't hesitate get a router.
