I need to set up the following:

Proofpoint à WAN à Exchange Edge Server

à Exchange Server @Domain1.Com & ADDS

à Exchange Server @Domain2.Com & ADDS

ETC

So, edge would accept incoming mail from Proofpoint for various domains hosted in unique ADDS forest/domains.

Outbound would be SmartHost via Proofpoint.

Does anyone have any good PowerShell, or UI based, pointers for this kind of setup please?

Thanks,

Exchange Edge is not a simple relay server. It has to be bound to a specific Exchange environment – which can include multiple (child) domains, but only a single forest.

You need to use something like ARR (in the Windows world) or hMail or Mailenable. Lots of different choices in the Unix/Linux/BSD worlds.
