Yeah, but it's a great game. It's really cheap but as you have PS+ you'll get it for free. If you've never played a Saints Row game before it's more like the old GTAs. Basically full of crazy open world shit that you can do. I would highly recommend playing it. It's probably one of the funner games of this console generation.

Yeah I just got plus and I wanted to look up the trophy list but couldn't see one. Oh well I'll probably still download it. I loved 3. Need to get back to it though. I need to find like one last hidden package that for the life of me I can't find . One day I'll get back to it.

Nope, no trophies for SR2. I've always wondered why developers haven't done trophy patches to their older games, specifically multi-platform games where they could just copy and paste the achievement list.

True, but the amount has to be negligible especially when the other platform has all the trophies named and thought of, so all that would be needed would be code it in. There are tons of people that play games just for trophies, or decide to buy older games on the 360 for the achievements and developers know this, so yes, it would cost money to add the trophies but I think they would more than make that money back.

It's the testing that takes money. I remember e-mailing Insomniac a long while back about trophy patches, and what they said was that they'd have to test the whole game again to make sure it all works.

Still , half of what Micrsosoft charges and for companies like THQ 20,000$ is like loose change. Doesn't matter though. Even without trophy support it's definitely worth playing. Trophies are a fun and challenging side distraction but one should never not play games because trophies are not available. That's especially true if the game is a quality tile like Saints Row 2. Still, I would prefer a trophy patch but I highly doubt that one will ever be released.

But a game that is as old as Saints Row 2 probably wouldn't get any new games sales for the trophies, or for that matter a sale that would affect the developers. Perhaps if they had a downloadable version of the game and only that had trophies (or the trophies were a DLC patch) it would be profitable, but without any knowledge of the cost of testing I would suspect that the trophy DLC would not be profitable.

I totally agree with your post though. I had lots of fun playing Saints Row 2, and while trophies would have been a nice bonus, they couldn't have made me enjoy the game any more than I did already. Still haven't got round to playing Saints Row: The Third yet though

I'm hoping the first one will come, but I doubt it. As for the trophies for SR2, I don't think it will ever get patched, but that should not make a difference. This is game is so fun, you are basically robbing yourself of a good time.

This is a great game, and a trophy patch would be nice, just as long as it's nothing like the 360's achievement list, since that required you to play the online mode on specific days just to earn special medals. There was talk shortly after Saint's Row 1's 360 release of it also being ported to PS3, but sadly, that never eventuated.

Oh well, good thing that if I ever wanted to get this game again, I can download it for free from the PlayStation Store, since I got the pre-order pack for Saint's Row: The Third, which even though it says that it's a limited time discount (the discount period expired a while ago), when I checked the other day, it could still get it for free.

Looking at this and seeing the comment about supposed $20,000 per patch if true is that possibly why alot of games with broken trophies some smaller devs or third-party pubs just don't bother to produce a fix?

Well, I by know means consider myself a walleye expert. I caught this Uni by accident while in Pike Alley fishing for Muskie lol. I don't specifically fish for Walleye that much. But all the trophies and uni's I've caught have all been off the Fairy Tale Dock. For the uni's I use a 1.5 oz jig head with a 5" - 6" worm. They say purple and chocolate color work best, but it's been my experince that color doesn't matter. And cast out to the left side of the right hand bouy a 170' of so. Sink...and do a 3 speed stop and go. Make sure you work the lure all the way to the dock, because you can and will catch them right at the dock. Most of the time though, I like to fish all around the dock in a 360 degree circle using a #3/0 - 23' crankbait. It yields a fair number of Walleye, Brown Trout & Smallmouth. Try that area using 3/0 to 4/0 - 23' to 30' cranks. 3/0 to 6/0 medium spoons, 3/0 to 6/0 jigheads with aforementioned plastic worms. Times are: Partly Cloudy, 2pm to 3pm & 7pm to 9pm. Cloudy: 8am to 10am & 7pm to 9pm.

Go to fairytale fishing and cast to the buoy on the left when facing the exit of the lake to around 40 to 43 meters. Let the lure sink to the bottom and retrieve with a slow lift and drop. The last 10 meters I use a slow stop and go since fish quite often bite in that range too. Got a unique at 8 meters!

Notes: This is one of the trophies related to the ventures that are part of the criminal empire created by the main characters. You can increase the Empire Tier level by building new Ventures (you have to select them on the map and pay the construction costs) and by completing them, i.e. by following all their basic requirements. In addition, to increase the level, you may need to make a certain amount of progress in the main storyline:

The current level is displayed on the business map in the upper left corner of the screen (we have marked it in the picture). As a reminder, the map is available in the Church that serves as the main base.

Notes: Perks are related to Challenges in the game, which you can view in the second tab of the Missions application. The initial list of Perks is not complete and new items will be added as a result of advancing in the game by creating new Ventures, for example.

You can highlight individual challenges and view their requirements (e.g. kill n enemies in a certain way, Sideswipe n enemy cars. You will receive a Perk for completing each challenge. The good news is that there's no requirement to complete 100% of the challenges in the game. Don't worry if you don't like a particular challenge.

Notes: You can easily track this achievement - after highlighting the store on the map, you will receive information about the challenge related to the purchase (example in the picture). It will disappear after you purchase any item. You can choose the cheapest items from the offer to spend less money on purchases altogether.

Notes: Getting this trophy requires a bit of luck. Stop the passing vehicles and throw their drivers out. Most people will run away after you steal their car, but from time to time you will come across someone who will fight back and throw you right back out of the car. It's best to wait a few seconds after each theft to find out what the NPC's reaction will be.

Single collectibles can be obtained as rewards, but most of the secrets must be found while exploring the game world. After finding the collectible, you need to properly photograph it and it will be added to the collection.

Notes: You get this trophy by making progress in the main storyline. You need to complete the final mission called Let's Build a Skyscraper, which consists of purchasing all 14 ventures. You will gain access to it after dealing with the final boss of the campaign in the Showdown mission.

After activating the application on your smartphone, you can view the available orders for killing various people. You can deal with them in any order, but it is a good idea to develop your character earlier and equip them with better vehicles and weapons. There are 12 jobs to be completed.

Comment: Side Hustles are one of the optional activities in the game. We have described them in a separate chapter - Activities. They are marked on the map with blue icons, but you must discover them first.

Comment: Pungus Sanctus Dei is a weapon that you can receive as a reward for dealing with Hidden Histories (one of the optional activities in the game). After unlocking this weapon, set it active (visit the arsenal in the Saints' hideout) and attack any vehicle.

You need to advance in the game and unlock the crime empire map in the Saints' headquarters in the church. You can create new ventures on it. Choose any from the list (the first ones are free) and set them up in any district.
