Yeah, Hobbs seems to be making a difference.

My metrics are

Top 6 = ecstatic because so unlikely

7-10 = "cracker of a season"

11-15 = it's nice being here

16-17 = scary

18-20 = oh well, it's been fun

If we don’t sell Neto, Gomez and Cunha I think top 10 is very achievable.

If those three are sold then I’ll predict 16th.

The problem is that this season we have the 2nd hardest start of all teams... so after 6 or 7 weeks we could be in the bottom 2. What happens then. Do they panic and make stupid decisions (like sacking GON) or stick with the plan? And it means we are unlikely to get the great first half of season we had last season. If we play like we did in the back half then we could be in trouble. And the PL will be out to punish us for standing up to them r.e. VAR. Think it will be a tough season. Hope I'm wrong obviously!
