(SENIOR) ECONOMIC JUSTICE POLICY ADVISOR

The (Senior) Economic Justice Policy Advisor will develop and advance model polices and best practices to empower and enhance the economic well-being of women, with a focus on women of color, as a means to advance equity, improve family well-being and reduce their risk of them or their children experiencing gender-based violence or child abuse. The (Senior) Policy advisor will be expected to advance economic equity and anti-poverty polices through written and social media, as well as other mediums; engage with and convene economic and anti-poverty experts, policy centers, academic institutions, philanthropic organizations and leaders at the national level; track and influence national and state legislation and policies involving economic opportunity and security, address education and child care as well as justice and anti-poverty/wealth development issues that affect women; participate in coalitions and educate stakeholders on the needs of survivors and others at risk for gender-based violence on the job.
