We are building a team committed to supporting and actualizing liberation in all aspects of the Center’s work and are uniquely located within the Office of Inclusion and Intercultural Relations alongside the campus cultural and resource centers at the University of Illinois. The Women’s Resources Center is hiring for an Associate Director of Prevention to lead the Center’s campus sexual assault misconduct awareness, education, and prevention strategy. 


The Associate Director, Prevention will coordinate and design campus sexual misconduct awareness, education, and prevention programs including the FirstYear CARE (Campus Acquaintance Rape Education) program and activities and events during Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Awareness Month. The Associate Director also serves as a Confidential Advisor, providing advocacy and support services to students, faculty, and staff who have experienced sexual misconduct, as required by Illinois state law.   The Associate Director, Prevention position closes November 8. This is a full time, benefits eligible position. Salary range: $68,000 - $72,000. Learn more at


In addition, we will be hosting an information sessions about the role on November 3 at 12 pm which will provide an overview of the center, the department in which it's housed, and responsibilities of the role. We’ll also present on benefits and about the Champaign-Urbana-Savoy community that surrounds our campus. An opportunity for questions will be provided after the presentation. This session is the perfect space for candidates who may still have questions about the position or candidates who are unsure about applying for the position.
