The NYC Mayor's Office to End Domestic and Gender-Based Violence (ENDGBV) is hiring a
Director of Policy to lead the Office's Policy team. Apply through the

The Policy Team conducts policy research, develops policy recommendations, and develops policies and programs
to address systemic gaps for survivors of DV/GBV, including intimate partner violence, family violence, elder abuse,
trafficking, sexual assault, and stalking. The Policy Team leads the Office’s equity and inclusion work, housing the
Language Access Coordinator, Disability Service Facilitator, and LGBTQ Liaison and chairing the office’s Equity
Committee, ensuring reporting on compliance with city, state, and federal language access requirements for limited
English proficient (LEP) people and access requirements for people with disabilities and provides consultations and
trainings on LGBTQ, LEP/Language Access, and disability issues related to survivors GBV.
The Director of Policy reports to the Assistant Commissioner for Policy and Training and will be responsible for the
management, development and implementation of agency policy research and initiatives, as well as legislative
and policy recommendations for ENDGBV to consider on city, state and federal levels related to DV/GBV and
assist in supervising staff research projects and coordinate advocacy efforts with key stakeholders.
