The Title IX Coordinator manages and implements initiatives related to the university’s compliance with Title IX requirements. The IX Coordinator will effectively monitor, coordinate, and promptly respond to allegations of sex and gender-based discrimination and related allegations of misconduct. Develops and provides leadership, guidance, and training to students and employees regarding university policies and procedures related to sexual and gender-based misconduct. Promotes an open, diverse, and inclusive campus environment for learning and working by monitoring the University’s compliance with Title IX. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:
*Bachelor’s degree
*At least seven (7) years, directly related to the management of investigations of student conduct and the provision of student services.
*An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Required Skills and Abilities:
* Demonstrated ability to carry out responsibilities in accordance with university policies and applicable laws.
* Must possess extensive knowledge of current state and federal law and regulations and the identified best practices and trends in the field of education related to harassment and other discriminatory practices that violate Title IX.
* Must possess strong organization, planning, and analytical skills.
* Must be able to communicate effectively and use discretion and solid judgment. Demonstrated ability to develop trust and work collaboratively with university students and employees.
* Demonstrated success in conducting sensitive investigations, developing educational programs, and facilitating trainings.
* Demonstrated ability to manage projects, working knowledge of all applicable computer software, and management skills (including planning, negotiation, and communication).
Preferred:
* A master’s degree is strongly preferred.
* Knowledge of university-specific policies, practices, and procedures.
