Advocacy and Wellness Coordinator Applications Now Open

The Women's Resources Center at the University of Illinois is building a team committed to supporting and actualizing liberation in all aspects of the Center’s work, and are uniquely located within the Office of Inclusion and Intercultural Relations alongside the campus cultural and resource centers at the University of Illinois. The Women’s Resources Center is currently hiring, and we need your help to spread the word.  Applications are currently being accepted for an Advocacy and Wellness Coordinator (Advocate).

 

The Advocacy and Wellness Coordinator (Advocate) will create and foster communities that support survivors of sexual misconduct. The Coordinator serves as a Confidential Advisor, providing advocacy and support services to students, faculty, and staff who have experienced sexual misconduct, as required by Illinois state law. This position will be crossed placed two days a week in the Bruce D. Nesbitt African American Cultural Center. Application portal closes Monday, October 25: http://go.illinois.edu/WRCAdvocacy

 

I've included a promotional flyer formatted for ease of distribution on social media, as well. As noted in the job description, candidates must have completed a minimum 40-hour standalone sexual assault crisis intervention training to be considered.
