Summary: This position works collaboratively with the advocates and the leadership team. The Victim Witness Supervisor provides leadership and management of the Victim Witness Department to ensure good working relationships with the district attorneys and that victims are receiving essential support throughout the legal process. The role of the Victim Witness Department is to provide support for victims of crime as they navigate the criminal justice system in both Lehigh and Northampton Counties. The Supervisor will work out of each county courthouse two days a week and one day in the main office.

Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree in human service-related field required
· Demonstrated ability to provide support services to victims of crime
· Advanced knowledge of the criminal justice system
· Supervisory experience
· Exhibits compassion and understanding of the impacts of interpersonal violence on individuals and families
· Demonstrates cultural humility, an understanding of systems of oppression, and a commitment to personal growth in skills and attitudes that promote equality and inclusion
· Demonstrated ability to create and maintain collaborative relationships with coworkers, key stakeholders, and outside entities
· Successful completion of the sexual assault counselor training provided by CVC
· Must be able to provide FBI Criminal Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Clearance, and Child Abuse History Clearance
· Valid driver’s license and working vehicle required
Core Responsibilities:
· Provides supervision for the victim advocates and makes assignments accordingly
· Completes yearly evaluations for victim witness staff
· In conjunction with the Executive Director, conducts staffing decisions for the victim witness department
· Provides regular, consistent individual and departmental supervision to the victim witness advocates
· Maintain an accurate statistical system to track accompaniment and advocacy services
· Advocates on behalf of victims in various systems including juvenile justice, health care, law enforcement, social services, etc.
· Develops and maintains a positive working relationship with local counties DA offices
· Submits weekly and monthly grant and data tracking documentation
· Helps to maintain 24-hour hotline coverage
· Participates in on-going services to clients such as crisis intervention, hospital, police, and court accompaniment, and advocacy services
· Contributes with intention to a positive and supportive agency culture based on care, trust, and our shared values
· Positively represents CVC in the community on coalitions and task forces
· Assists and participates in agency events and activities
· Other duties as assigned
