Legal Director (Baton Rouge, LA)

The Legal Director manages STAR’s legal services program and provides legal representation to STAR clients throughout our service areas.
The primary responsibilities of this role are to:
- Directly supervise the Staff Attorneys and Legal Services Coordinator
- Collaborate with the Legal/Policy Director to develop and expand the legal program
- Provide legal representation to STAR® clients
- Collaborate with the Vice President of Survivor Services, Advocacy Director(s), Counseling Director to ensure comprehensive service delivery to STAR client across all branches and programs
- Conduct quality assurance of legal notes/files in EmpowerDB
Classification: 40 hours/week, Full-Time/Non-Exempt
Reports to: Vice President of Survivor Services
Supervises: Staff Attorneys, Legal Services Coordinator
Salary: Base pay range is $59,580 – $61,368; additional compensation will depend on education, knowledge, and experience.
