Sherri has been with the
Contracting & Procurement Services Division at
the Department of Information Resources since July of 2004. Prior
to
that, she served as the Assistant Director of the Telecommunications
Division
of DIR, where she worked for 17
years. As the Director of the Contracting & Procurement
Services Division, she is responsible for overseeing a staff of 25 who
establish, negotiate and manage approximately 400 statewide contracts for
Information Technology Commodities and Services. Sherri holds a
Bachelor’s
Degree in Economics from the University of Texas at
Austin.
