Respected Sisters of Nepalese Origin, Community Members and well-wishers,
It gives us an immense pleasure to announce the official date for the celebration of Teej festival in our society, which is Sunday, August 21st after 6.00 PM in MAYURI RESTAURANT located in 1102 west I-635, Irving, TX 75063 (ph#972-910-8788). Teej festival is a great festival of Hindu ladies, which shows caring and joy among family and friends, where ladies sing songs, dance and eat in a joyous environment. This time, even to create more joyous environment to celebrate one of the great festival of our sisters, and to promote the Nepalese culture for our future generation in foreign soil, efficiently, we are lucky to have one of the popular Nepali folk singer and “DOHORI GEET GAYAK” Mr. Ram Prasad Khanal, with us.

Information About Dance Practice for Teej at NST Irving
Teej function has been decided for Saturday, August 27th in Mayuri Restrurat, 1102 west I-635, Irving, TX 75063 . Dance practice for Teej will be held in Nepalese Society of Texas (NST), Irving every Sunday, starting from June 24th at Noon until 2 pm CST (after the jumba which is at 11:30am). You are requested to participate along with your friends and sisters to make “Teej Festival” a successful one. Below is the detail information for dance practice:
