I hope you’re all well and enjoying your CRICKET SEASONS?

Most of you will know that Darjeeling CC make an annual pilgrimage to that well-known cricketing nation, Thailand every year in April for the Chiang Mai Sixes Tournament.  It has become habit for us have a warm-up Sixes Day every year in Dubai.

This year we’ve been urged to take things a little further.

I have booked an ICC Oval from 10am – 6pm on both Friday 18^th & Saturday 19^th March this year 

so we have the opportunity of having a SIXES FESTIVAL over the 2 Days.

Obviously, the amount of games will depend on the number of teams – but as an estimate it would be a minimum of 3 per day
(or 6 for the whole weekend).  Estimated Match fees to cover the cost of the ground and would be around AED1k per day per team (AED2k for the weekend) – we’d then add on a little for balls, umpires, water etc… The price, of course will depend on how many teams enter – but it shouldn’t vary much beyond the above.

Naturally, I can go into more detail as we go ahead – but firstly, can you let me know if you’d be interested in entering a SQUAD of 10 players (we can be a little flexible as we’re going over two days)…?

We will give special preference for teams coming from abroad/ other Emirates
