A Talk on Nationalism, Terrorism, and Human Rights

About HRGI:

Human Rights Group (India) is a registered NGO with an objective of building a healthy Indian society. In order to attain the objective of welfare of the society, they have initiated a series of lectures, group discussions and talk show in various educational institutes of India such as IITs, IIMs, different medical colleges and technical institutes/universities covering various shades of Human Rights and Responsibilities.

 

About the event:

The event comprises of two sessions

1. Extempore - The 1st session is an extempore competition for students on the subject of "Nationalism, Terrorism and Human Rights".

Click Here for guidelines. Prizes per team are as follow-

• 1st Prize – Rs 5000

• 2nd Prize – Rs 3000

• 3rd Prize – Rs. 2000

• Besides this, the participation certificate will be given to all the participants.

2. Discussion Session with eminent speakers - The 2nd session shall start from 5:00 PM and will have speeches on the subjects of "The Fundamental Rights, Directive Principles of State Policy and Fundamental Duties" and "Nationalism, Terrorism, and Human Rights" by following key speakers:-

• Sr. Advocate Amar Vivek, Additional Advocate General Punjab & Haryana High Court

• Advocate Rajesh Gaur, Additional Advocate General Punjab & Haryana High Court

• Sh. VN Rai, IPS officer of Haryana cadre retired as Director General of Police Academy, Hyderabad

5 students from the audience will be awarded a cash prize of Rs.1000 each.
