Economics Club invites you to an interactive session with Sh. Anil Swarup, Secretary, MHRD on 'Creating Impact through Governance'. 

About the Speaker
Mr. Swarup currently is the Secretary, Education, and Literacy, MHRD, GoI and has previously served in Ministry of Labour & Employment and Ministry of Coal. He has previously worked on policies targeting welfare of workers in the unorganized sector, including National Health Insurance scheme (RSBY) and has been the key person in cleaning the mess of coal allocation post-Coalgate scam.

About the Event

The session will also focus on two of the major concerns related to the Indian economy; the role of educated & skilled population in India's development and the Opportunities & Challenges in India's Education sector.

Tentative Schedule:

6.15-6.30 PM: Introductory address by Prof. Nomesh Bolia, Dept. of Mechanical Eng., IITD

6.30-7.15 PM: Keynote by Mr Anil Swarup

7.15 onwards: Q&A
