"Heaven is a myth, Himalayas are real."
About Himalayan Chipko Foundation:

Himalayan Chipko Foundation (HCF) was formed to safeguard the environment and rights of the people of the Himalayas. The President of Himalayan Chipko Foundation, J P Dabral, is a social entrepreneur and a social activist. Honoured by the Ashoka Fellowship, Real Heroes Award by CNN IBN, International Green Apple Award by Green Organization, U.K. and the India Awaken Award by Hindustan Times, he is known mainly for the sustainable environment advocacy for the rural people in his native Uttarakhand.

About the Internship:
Two volunteers are required to help the President of HCF, Mr. JP Dabral to help him in doing research about the degradation of Himalayas and writing a script in English language, for a documentary. This idea has been inspired by Al Gore's 'An Inconvenient Truth'. The volunteers would be interacting with various Research Institutes and Ministries of Uttarakhand. The volunteers will be working on the script in Delhi only. They will have to visit Dehradun for 4-5 days to meet the authorities. They must have good writing skills.

"You will surely feel great after spending a few days, doing social work in the beautiful Himalayas."
