About the Project : 

The vision of this project is to make the people of Munirka and Lakshyam aware of the government policies and would assist them so that they can be benefitted from those policies.

About RTE :

Clause 12 of the Right to Education Act guarantees 25% reservation of entry-level seats to children from Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) and socially disadvantaged groups(DG).

About the Volunteering :
Volunteers are expected to interact with the people and explain them about RTE act. While going to every household, they need to help the people in filling up the forms and ensuring that residents have all the required documents. There will be an introductory session for volunteers on 13th Jan.Details of the introductory session will be mailed to the registered volunteers. 

It is compulsory to attend the session to get selected.

Venue: Munirka Basti, Lakshyam

Days: All days

Time: 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm

Note: 

• A Minimum Commitment of 2 days per week is required.
• Volunteering opportunity will last until Feb-end.
• Bulk Hour policy will be followed.
• It is compulsory to attend the introductory session.
• Selection of volunteers will be after the session.
