Do you want to be doing more with your life than to be just participating in a mind-numbing rat-race for PORs and credentials to help land you a job as a consultant, banker or an assembly line engineer in a FMCG company?

If you are one of those who believe that the access to technology should not be limited to just the wealthy and the powerful. If you believe in the power of technology to bring about positive changes in society in general and the most disadvantaged sections, in particular.

This winter, SARAS has initiated two internship programs for IIT students, focusing primarily on technology dissemination in the bottom of the proverbial social pyramid. The two projects are follows:
1. Development of a Pico-electrification system in Ashok Nagar village: The project focuses on the pico scale energy generation through Bio-energy. The project duration is 2 months. SARAS will be responsible for food as well as accommodation for volunteers.
2. Kiosk Project: Implementing Kiosk project in the village which is new innovative virtual clinic providing health facilities at a very cheap rate. The project duration is 15-20 days. SARAS will be responsible for food as well as accommodation for volunteers. The location is the Village Ashok Nagar, Chapra, Bihar. The time of the winter project in the month of December.
