About Apna Parivaar Children's Home
Apna Parivaar is a shelter Home to 10 kids aged between 5 and 15 which was started by Mr. Babu Rao. These kids were rescued from trafficking and are living away from their parents in such a delicate phase of life. So, they need a proper mentor cum friend to shape their life. The children there are very enthusiastic to learn, have immense talent but they lack confidence and platform to explore their interests. There is also a lack of exposure to outside world.
What We Do?
We aim to build confidence in children through various activities like role play, antakshari, and other games for their personality development. We clear their academic doubts using interactive and activity based learning methods. We try to build a volunteer-children bond through which we can achieve our aim of building confidence in children besides giving new friends to the volunteers.
Your Role
You will play a very decisive role for them. You will be a friend with whom they will share their life; you will be a mentor who will guide them on a right path; you will be a teacher who will teach them life skills.

Timings : 12:30 pm to 5:30 pm
Day : Every Sunday

NOTE:
This is a semester-long volunteering opportunity.
You should be regular for the volunteering.
Bulk Hour policy will be followed and hours will be provided on the quality of work.
