Name suggessions for NSS B.Com Association

Dear friends,

Based on a discussion among me, Praveen and Vinod, I had gone through the internet to find some foreign names for the association with meaning "friendship", "alumni" or "reunion". The result:

 

French term for Alumni:
Anciens / Doyens

 

French term for Alumni Day:
Alumni jours

 

Spanish term for Alumni:
Exalumnos / Egresado

 

Greek term for Alumni is also Alumni. Actually Alumni is a greek term meaning old students.

 

French term for get-together:
Rendez-vous

 

Spanish term for get-together:
Tertulia

 

German term for get-together:
Beisammensein

 

Greek term for get-together:
Synathroisi

 

French term for friends:
Amis

 

Spanish term for friends:
Amigos

 

Greek term for friends:
Philia

 

German term for friends:

Freunde

Can we adopt any of these names for the association or still to continue with "SAMANVAYAM" or "SAMANVAYA". Among the foreign words, I felt "AMIS", "AMIGOS", "PHILIA", "ANCIENS" and "DOYENS" somewhat good. Kindly send your comments also.
