Dear Friends,
Lets get down to the business now. Its too long since we have been discussing various names for the association. Of late, there are just two names that have received multiple votes as prospective names (in their voting sequence):
The Spanish term for friends ------> AMIGOS
The Hindi term for union ------> EKTA
The French term for alumni ------> ANCIENS
The other names such as Samanvayam, v4u, Sangamam, Sauhrudam, Doyens, etc have received fewer votes. Hence, it seems that we need to narrow down the selection to these 2 or 3 names so as to avoid further confusion. Further, we need to finalise the same latest by the 15th of July. The association needs to be registered with the selected name and the documents for registration is also ready with Mr.Vinod Kumar.
Our next meeting date also needs to be finalised. The same was intended to be conducted during the month of July, but it seems impossible now. Hence, please lets all join to finalise the suitable name as soon as possible.
Please find attached herewith, the proposed documents for registration of the association. Requesting each member to go through the same and send in their comments by 30th of July so as to be finalised. The documents have been drafted by Mr.Vinod and I have also incorporated some changes into the same. My sincere gratitude to Mr.Vinod for the wonderful job.

7 out of 12 voted for Amigos. Lets go for it. I think we have given lot of time deliberation on name.
